About the Event
So excited to join with Greg Rose to bring you a 3 hour multimedia art and poetry workshop exploring how we communicate. Participants will explore and discuss how black artist and writers tell stories with the body and what that looks like on the page. In this experience you will * generate new work * Build writer and artist communities * Engage with classic and contemporary black art and literature *beverage, food, and writer workshop materials

More about Co- Facilitator
Greg rose is an Indianapolis based artist who creates content that births new narratives, experiences and references for marginalized folx. His artistic work expands across multiple genres . He currently serves on the board of one of Indy’s more inclusive art galleries ( future friends HMC) . His work has touched on hot topic issues that exist within African American culture like the narrative of black fatherhood , unrealistic Eurocentric beauty standards and reclaiming artistic equity for . He is currently working projects that will tackle religion and gender within the black diaspora.
