About the Event
Are looking for other ways of challenging yourself as a poet? A writer?It's happening again!! A 3 hour 1 day poetry multimedia and interactive workshop, designed to explore self-expression, identity, social emotional learning, and self-esteem building. Through poetry, literary writing skills, and discussion by looking at black women poets and other surprises in store we will focusing on different forms of writing poetry and peer editing.
The objective of these workshops are to inspire creativity, find voice, and guide and demonstrate conversations surrounding how black women writers use language in their literary works to reclaim, expose,and address about shame, vulnerability, race, gender and more. We will be exploring the process of reclaiming voice through safe space, poetry, and more!
There will also be food and drinks. I look forward to seeing you there!
